Impress with these homemade burgers smothered in a gooey, silky cheese sauce and topped with crispy bacon.
Ingredients
For the Burger
500 gbeef mince / ground beef
1egg yolk
4 rashersstreaky bacon
8cornichons (or gherkins / pickles)
1gem lettuce
4brioche buns
1onion (sliced into rings)
4 tspolive oil (for toasting the buns)

For the Cheese Sauce
4cheese slices / American cheese
75 gcheddar cheese
30 gbutter
30 gplain flour / all purpose flour
300 mlfull fat milk / whole milk
